Description

The Alfa Romeo Giulia GT is a sporty coupé derived from the Giulia, produced by the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo between 1963 and 1975.
The Giulia GT was intended to replace the Giulia Sprint 1600, which was essentially a Giulietta Sprint fitted with the 1.6-liter engine from the Giulia Ti. It retained the general body layout, as well as the classic front-engine, rear-wheel drive configuration.
The bodywork, designed by a very young Giorgetto Giugiaro while working at Bertone, was mounted on the shortened chassis of the Giulia Ti sedan, with the wheelbase reduced from 2510 mm to 2350 mm. The result was a sleek 2+2 sporty coupé.
